Yoga with Weights, the ultimate anti-aging system, is a hybrid of two powerful,
time-tested exercise systems: yoga and bodybuilding. Applying deep and rhythmic breathing in every exercise,
you’ll tone your abs, stimulate metabolism, build your endurance, maintain bone density, and become more
flexible all while achieving deeper balance, inner strength, and peace of mind.

Nationally recognized yoga and fitness expert Sherri Baptiste, a dynamic teacher at the forefront of yoga training and author of Yoga with Weights for Dummies, will teach you the practical application of adding a little bit of weight at the right time and in the right place to yoga exercises.

Session includes:

  • The essential practice with a variety of ‘Yoga with Weights’
    exercises including warm-up, seated exercises,
    standing exercises and floor exercises.

All Equipment Provided except Ankle Weights
2-3lbs for women, 3-5 lbs for men (bring your own)
Participants will use a yoga mat, handheld weights
(1-3 pounds per hand for women and 5 pounds per hand for men) and ankle
weights (2-3 pounds for women 3-5 pounds for men). Participants will also
be using a largephysio/yoga ball during the practice. Please be sure to bring
a set of ankle weights for this session, all other equipment will be provided.
