About Sherri Baptiste. She is the author of Yoga with Weights for Dummies (Wiley Publishers 2006), daughter of the American yoga and physical culture pioneers Walt and Magaña Baptiste, has been associated with yoga since she took her first baby steps or assumed her first lotus position, which ever came first. Her parents were renowned yoga-health-and fitness-teachers, and she followed in their footsteps, founding Baptiste Power of Yoga, a nationally recognized yoga method. A top expert in her field of health, fitness and wellness she is an inspirational teacher. Experience a dynamic exploration of the chakras as a path to yogic transformation, healing, and selfrealization. This class includes a hatha yoga session designed and sequenced to awaken the spirit and balance the chakras. We'll practice visualization, color-breathing techniques, and meditation to stimulate subtle awareness and bring balance to the chakras, leaving you with an overall sense of well-being. Bring a mat, blanket, and block or sitting cushion.

Join Sherri Baptiste as she skillfully guides you through this session. Learn how to use important guided visualization, breathing techniques, silent meditation, and sequencing to elicit the Relaxation Response.

Accompanied by Damien Rose with his Liquid Bells Singing Bowls the beautiful vibrations of 20 Tibetan bowls, experienced as ever-changing non- competitive sounds that take you into a place of deep relaxation and meditation. Physicians, psychologists, and other professionals endorse meditation as a powerful tool for relieving stress, maintaining health, and promoting creativity and vitality.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and block or sitting cushion. All levels, with or without previous meditation practice are welcome.
